Tucked beneath the canopy of the Memphis Botanic Garden, Sarah and Ishtey’s wedding felt like a quiet dream. It was one of those days where everything aligned perfectly, from the weather to the energy, and you could just feel that this was exactly how it was meant to be.
Their ceremony beneath the Blecken Pavilion was simple and sacred. One of my favorite moments was their first act of communion as husband and wife. It was reverent and intimate, a reflection of the foundation their love was built upon.
Sarah and Ishtey share deep roots in their faith and community — I actually met Sarah through church — so it felt especially meaningful to document a day that was so true to who they are. From their laughter to the thoughtful details (and the multiple cakes from Tous les Jours Memphis that guests couldn’t stop talking about), the whole celebration was effortless and full of love.
